Warranty Policy

The Gallery Warehouse guarantees that it will make good of any timber and structural defect (not the finish, which include stain, oil or lacquer) within the warranty period on its product by:

  • Repair, and
  • In case where the product cannot be repaired, then a replacement product will be provided where possible or
  • In case where a replacement product cannot be provided or that the replacement product proved to be defective, The Gallery Warehouse will refund the full amount and retrieve the product, within the warranty period form the date of purchase, which is validated upon the presentation of the original tax invoice for that particular product claimed for warranty purposes.
  • The Gallery Warehouse offers 12 months warranty on BC Grade collection, 3 Years on A Grade premium collection and 5 Years on Wintons Teak collection.

The warranty is limited to the following conditions:

  • Natural characteristic of the good must not be deemed as a defect (please see product features and explanation for details).
  • Normal wear and tear of the product cannot be deemed as a defect (please see product features and explanation for details).
  • The product must be maintained in accordance with the relevant care instructions provided (please see product features and explanation for details).
  • The warranty does not extend to defects due to improper cleaning, negligence or treatment of product with chemicals (please see product features and explanation for details).
  • The warranty does not extend to damage caused by spills, such as acid, solvent, dyes, food, candles, ink, paint or body fluids.
  • The warranty is only provided to the original purchaser.
  • The warranty does not cover product which had been used for commercial or non-domestic purposes.
  • Any repair or replacement does not include cost of transportation in order to repair or replace product claimed under warranty.

Product Features and Explanations

Wintons Teak and A-Grade Premium

    • It is a natural feature of the product to become grey overtime.
    • It is natural for the wooden surface becomes rough when left outside. 
    • It is a natural feature of the product to experience some surface or hairline crack overtime (this is not the same as a splitting timber or a crack).
    • It is a natural feature of the product to develop end check (usually occurs at the end of the timber slats) overtime.
    • It is natural that the product shows natural wood grain or pattern.
    • Brass joints on the products are exposed to movement. As such it is natural that they become loose overtime. . It is essential to screw them tight overtime to keep the strength and structure stable.
    • It is the general care and maintenance of the product to use the product as it is intended, which means that it is important not to sit on the arms rest, sit on the table top or to pivot on the leg of chairs.

    BC Grade Outdoor Collection

      • It is natural for the stain and oil finish on the product to fade overtime.
      • It is a natural feature of the product to become grey overtime without re-staining.
      • It is a natural feature of the product to experience some surface or hairline crack overtime (this is not the same as a splitting timber or a crack).
      • It is a natural feature of the product to develop end check (usually occurs at the end of the timber slats) overtime.
      • It is natural that the product shows natural wood grain and pattern.
      • Brass joints on the products are exposed to movement. As such it is natural that they become loose overtime. It is essential to screw them tight overtime to keep the strength and structure stable.
      • It is essential that the product is re-oiled at least once every year.
      • It is the general care and maintenance of the product to use the product as it is intended, which means that it is important not to sit on the arms rest, sit on the table top or to pivot on the leg of chairs.
